Hi! My name is Tamara.

I was born in Israel and I have lived in Efrat for almost my whole life. Not long ago I turned sixteen. One of my hobbies is to dance and I have been dancing for five years. Sadly, once I started high school I stopped because of the lack of time. I hope next year to continue again at a studio in Jerusalem. Along with dancing, I quit gymnastics which I did for seven years. Today I work as a gymnastics assistant in the community center in Efrat.

Most of my relatives live in Israel. I am lucky to have cousins from both sides of my family in Efrat. My parents made aliya when they were children, so I am bilingual. At home I speak English and at school, Hebrew. Out of four kids in my family I am second. I have an older brother who is eighteen, a younger brother who is almost fifteen and a younger sister who is ten. My father works as an architect and my mother as an English teacher. Four years ago my brothers and I started taking tennis lessons in Jerusalem. Today, I play occasionally though my older brother pursued the sport and now has a tennis instructor certificate from Wingate Institute. He teaches tennis in the Efrat community center. My younger brother plays basketball with Elitzur Jerusalem, and my younger sister also dances and learns gymnastics. I guess you could say that we are a very athletic family.
